In the 24th round of  ADNOC Pro League, and at Dibba Stadium, Al Wasl defeated hosts Al Orooba with two goals to one.

Heper dos Santos opened the scoring for Al Orooba in the 32nd minute, and Fabio Lima quickly equalized in the 35th minute.
Siaka Sidibe put Al Wasl in the lead with the second goal in the 42nd minute with a header after following up on a cross from Nicolas Gimenez.
In the second half, play was confined to the midfield, and Al Wasl players tried to increase their goal tally but were unlucky in that. The referee’s whistle announced the end of the match with Al Wasl’s victory.
