Al Wasl lost to their guest Ajman 0-1 in the 22nd round of the Pro League Under 23 years, which was held at Za'abeel Stadium.
Al Wasl started the match with a lineup that included Moriba Camara in goal, Abdelrahman Saleh, Yousif Al Mheiri, Mouhamed Bobo Ba, and Salem Al Azeezi in defense. In midfield were Abdulla Al Shamsi, Ali Ismail Madani, and Tahnoon Al Zaabi, while the attack was led by Rabee Hassan Salmeen, Abou Ibrahima Konate, and Saif Nasser.
Al Wasl searched for the opening goal from the first whistle, and their players tried to score against Ajman, but Omar Safwat scored for Ajman in the 30th minute.
In the second half, head coach Tiago Teixeira made substitutions to boost the attacking momentum, bringing on Dimas Filho, Khaled Ali, and Naif Ahmed in place of Salem Al Azeezi, Abdulla Al Shamsi, and Tahnoon Al Zaabi. Saif Nasser and Ali Ismail Madani also left the pitch, with Khalifa Khamis Saad and Abdulla Ahmed coming on in their place.
Al Wasl pushed to equalize, but their efforts were unsuccessful, and the match ended with Ajman winning 1-0. As a result, Al Wasl’s tally remained at 32 points in fourth place in the league standings.
