Al Wasl Football Academy celebrated the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the unification of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, in a distinguished national atmosphere that reflected feelings of pride and honor in this precious national occasion, which embodies a journey of achievements, sacrifices, and giving for the elevation and security of the homeland.

The Academy affirmed that the decision to unify the Armed Forces on May 6, 1976, formed a fundamental pillar for the journey of union and development, reinforced the foundations of strength and unity, and established a solid base for a firm defensive system that protects the homeland, forms a rock upon which the ambitions of enemies are shattered, and preserves its achievements. The UAE Armed Forces have written the finest epics of sacrifice and courage, and will remain the fortified shield of the homeland and its strong and steadfast fence.
