Al Wasl achieved a victory over their hosts Khorfakkan with a clean three-goal win, as part of the fourteenth round of the Pro League Under 23 years.

Al Wasl’s lineup for the match included the following names: Moriba Kamara in goal; Khaled Ali, Tarek Issaoui, Abdallah Hausawi and Faris Khalil in defense. In midfield were Saif Nasser, João Ferreira, Abdulla Ahmed, N'guessan Jean and Rabee Hassan Salmin, while Renato Junior played in attack.

Al Wasl took the lead in the first half with three goals scored by Rabee Hassan Salmin, Khaled Ali and N'guesan Jean, respectively, in the 4th, 17th and 26th minutes.

In the second half, head coach Tiago Teixeira made tactical substitutions, as João Ferreira and Saif Nasser left the pitch to be replaced by Naif Ahmed and Ali Ismail Madani. Abou Ibrahima Konate, Dimas Filho and Bader Nasser Khamis also came on as substitutes for Renato Junior, N'guessan Jean and Fares Khalil.

Al Wasl continued their attempts to increase the scoreline, but lacked finishing, as the match ended with an Al Wasl victory that raised their points tally to 22 points in fourth place on the standings, temporarily until the end of the round.
