Al Wasl Club officially announced the signing of Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi, coming from Greek club Olympiacos, to join the first football team.

Taremi began his football career with Iranjavan, then Shahin Bushehr, and after that with Persepolis in Iran, before playing for Al-Gharafa in Qatar. He then moved to Europe, playing for Rio Ave and then Porto. He had a spell in Italy with Inter Milan, followed by Olympiacos in Greece.

Taremi’s career is full of titles and championships. He won the Iranian Super Cup once, the Iranian League twice, and with Porto, he won the Portuguese Super Cup twice, the Portuguese League Cup once, the Portuguese League Cup once, the Portuguese Cup three times, and the Greek Super Cup once.

The signing comes as part of Al Wasl Club’s moves to strengthen the team with experienced players in preparation for the domestic and continental competitions, aiming to appear at the best level.
