Al Wasl youth basketball team was crowned champions of the Youth Cup after a well-deserved victory over their counterpart Sharjah with a score of 81-68, in the final match held at Rashid bin Hamdan Hall in Al Nasr Club.

The team was crowned in the presence of Tareq Saeed Al Shehhi, Board Member and Chairman of the  Individual and Group Games Company, Ahmed Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director of Individual and Group Games, Khayam Abdulaziz, Member of the Individual and Group Games Company and Basketball Supervisor at Al Wasl Club, His Excellency Mansour Al Hashemi, Member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Basketball Federation and Assistant Secretary-General, international observer Mohammed Al Shammari, Mr. Rashid Abdullah, National Teams Director, in addition to Dr. Mounir Ben Habib, Technical Director of the Federation.

With this achievement, Al Wasl youth add a new accomplishment to the club's record, confirming their excellence and strong presence in local competitions.
