In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,  UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and The Ruler of Dubai, may God preserve him, to raise the flag across the country and in various sectors, the Football Academy at Al Wasl Club organized a special event to raise the UAE flag, with the participation of players from the age groups of 6 to 11 years and parents.

This initiative came as a quick response reflecting the depth of national belonging, and embodying the meanings of pride and appreciation of the national identity, as the academy affirmed its commitment to its educational and national role in instilling the values of loyalty and belonging in the hearts of the younger generations, and strengthening their connection to the symbols, history, and achievements of the nation.

The academy confirmed that such initiatives are not limited to being a symbolic participation, but rather represent a sincere expression of the unity and cohesion that characterizes the United Arab Emirates, and contribute to instilling positive values among youth, and enhancing their sense of social responsibility.

Al Wasl Club, across its various sectors, is keen to engage with various national occasions, within the framework of its vision aimed at reinforcing national values within the sports community, and enhancing the role of clubs as community institutions that contribute to building individuals, in line with the vision of the wise leadership, which aims to strengthen the unity of society and consolidate the spirit of cooperation and solidarity among its members, and affirms that national identity remains the cornerstone in the journey of development and prosperity.
