Under the slogan “Al Wasl Is Closer to You,” Al Wasl Sports Club launched the “Al Wasl 60” project, which aims to expand the club’s sports and community activities, provide children and young players with the opportunity to play and train in locations close to their homes, and discover outstanding talents in residential areas to join the Al Wasl Football Academy, hone their talents, and develop them to become future stars.

The project includes the opening of 4 outdoor training centers in a number of residential areas in Dubai, including Al Barsha South Park, Nad Al Sheba 4 Playing Area, Muhaisnah First Park, and Al Mizhar First 1 Park, so that these centers will be an extension of the training programs provided by the club.

The “Al Wasl 60” project targets age groups from 6 to 16 years old, with training held three days a week, as part of a community training program that focuses on developing the players’ basic, technical, and physical skills. The club is also planning to study the opening of additional locations during the coming period, which would contribute to expanding the scope of the project and reaching new residential areas, with the aim of providing a safe and stable sports environment through purposeful initiatives that discover, nurture, and develop emerging talents.
