Al Wasl Football Company has completed the signing of goalkeeper Abdulrahman Al Ameri from Al Jazira club, who will join the club's first football team starting from the 2026–27 season, as part of the club’s plan to strengthen its squad ahead of upcoming competitions.

Al Ameri progressed through the youth ranks of Al Jazira before reaching the first team in 2017. During his time with the club, he achieved several accomplishments, most notably winning the UAE Pro League title in the 2020–21 season, the President’s Cup in the 2016–17 season, and the UAE Super Cup in 2021.

Al Ameri also spent loan spells with Al Nasr and Al Bataeh. During the previous season, he represented Al Bataeh in 14 UAE Pro League matches.

The signing of Abdulrahman Al Ameri comes as part of Al Wasl Football Company’s commitment to strengthening the goalkeeping position with experienced and capable players, enhancing the team’s ability to compete in various competitions during the upcoming season.
