As part of encouraging athletic talent and promoting a culture of success within the club, Al Wasl Company for Team and Individual Sports organized an honorary ceremony for the age group basketball teams, in appreciation of their outstanding performance and honorable efforts during the sports season, during which they achieved 6 championships last season.

The ceremony was attended by Tariq Saeed Al Shehhi, Board Member and Chairman of the Company for Team and Individual Sports, Mohammed Omar Al Tayer, Board Member, Abdul Nasser Al Shamsi, General Manager of Al Wasl Club, Khayyam Abdul Aziz Falkanaz, Member of the Company and Basketball Supervisor, Nabil Abdul Karim, Member of the Company for Team and Individual Sports, and Ahmed Saeed Al Nuaimi, Manager of Team and Individual Sports.

Also present were Abdul Qader Mohammed and Obaid Sultan, former basketball players in the UAE, alongside coaches, administrators, players, and their families.

Tariq Saeed Al Shehhi, Board Member and Chairman of the Company for Team and Individual Sports, affirmed the club management’s commitment to supporting all age groups across different sports, considering them the fundamental base for the future of the club.

He added that the honoring event falls within an integrated strategy that aims to build a promising athletic generation equipped with skill, discipline, and ambition, and to continue representing Al Wasl in the best possible way at both local and international levels.

The Chairman of the Company congratulated the players on their achievements and urged them to continue their efforts in the upcoming season to achieve more championships and titles.
