The pre-match press conference for Al Wasl and Jordan’s Al Wehdat, as part of the AFC Champions League 2, was held ahead of the match scheduled to be played tomorrow at Za'abeel Stadium at 8:00 pm, for Group A.
The head coach of Al Wasl first football team, Mesut Meral, confirmed during the press conference the team’s readiness to play the match, saying: “Finally, we have returned to the atmosphere of competition once again. Of course, evaluation is always based on results, but the team is delivering a good performance, and there is improvement in the team’s level in every training session, and the team is ready for tomorrow’s match.”
In turn, Al Wasl goalkeeper Khaled Al Senani stressed that the team is at the highest levels of readiness to play the match, and said in his remarks: “It is a very important match for us, and all the players are fully prepared to play the match.”
He concluded: “We have gone through strong training sessions during the past weeks and reached a level of readiness that will allow us to deliver good performances. We will give everything we have in order to come out with a positive result.”
