Al Wasl Club concluded the Al Wasl Football Academy trials for the new sports season, which witnessed great turnout and wide participation from promising football talents, as the number of applicants for the trials reached 1,432 players from various age groups, starting from 17 years old down to 6 years old, with the aim of discovering future talents and opening the way for them to shine.
The trials were held over several days according to an integrated technical and organizational program, supervised by the technical and administrative staff of Al Wasl Academy, with the aim of discovering and developing distinguished football talents and attracting players capable of representing the club in the future, within Al Wasl’s strategy aimed at building a strong base of talented players and developing them according to the highest technical standards.
The trials witnessed distinguished levels, as the participants underwent a comprehensive evaluation by specialized coaches of the players’ technical, skill, and physical aspects.
The results led to the selection of 104 players to advance to the second stage, while 50 players succeeded in securing their places within Al Wasl Football Academy teams after successfully passing the trials.
The academy’s management confirmed that the large numbers witnessed in the trials reflect the distinguished position enjoyed by Al Wasl Academy and the great confidence in its development programs, which have contributed over the past years to producing many talented players.
