Al Wasl Football Company has completed the procedures for signing right-back Pedro Malheiro, 24 years old, coming from Turkish club Trabzonspor, with a contract extending for four seasons. He thus becomes the third signing for "The Emperor" in the summer transfer window, after Peruvian Renato Tapia and Brazilian Hugo Neto.

Malheiro began his football career with Vilaverdense in the 2010-2011 season, and played for Braga in the 2014 season, then Palmeiras FC in the 2014-2015 season, followed by Famalicao from 2015 to 2017. He played with Vilaverdense in the 2017-2018 season, then with Boavista from 2018 to 2021.

Malheiro was promoted to the first team with Boavista in 2021, and on July 23, 2024, he signed with Turkish club Trabzonspor, with whom he participated in 33 league matches in the 2024-2025 season, succeeding in scoring 6 goals and providing 4 assists to his teammates.
