Al Wasl Club held the pre-match press conference ahead of the team’s encounter with Kalba, as part of the second round of the ADNOC Pro League. The two teams will meet at Kalba Club Stadium next Friday, August 21.

During the press conference, Portuguese coach Rui Vitória, head coach of Al Wasl’s first football team, confirmed the team’s readiness for the match and said: “We are playing our second match of the new season, and I am sure it will be a difficult match. Kalba is a very good team and makes things difficult for the opposing team.”

He added: “We have to be smart and fully focused. Now it is our turn to continue in the same manner as the previous match against United, and to fight to get the three points. We are Al Wasl, and we expect nothing less than that.”

He concluded his statements by saying: “We are working well, and the players have high morale and a high competitive spirit. We have the quality to win the match, which will certainly be difficult.”

For his part, Al Wasl forward Renato Junior confirmed the team’s readiness for the encounter, stressing the players’ desire to achieve victory. He said: “We will play our second league match, this time against Kalba. They are a strong and distinguished team, but we will seek to achieve victory and earn the full three points in the match.”
