Al Wasl Football Company has successfully completed the signing of Brazilian striker Matheus Saldanha (25 years old) from Hungarian club Ferencváros on a three-season contract. He becomes the third foreign professional in the Emperor’s squad, joining Peruvian international Renato Tapia and Moroccan defender Soufiane Bouftini.
Saldanha signed his contract with Al Wasl after passing the medical check he underwent this morning in Dubai. He is set to travel within the coming hours to the Netherlands to join the team’s overseas training camp in the city of Tiel.
