At Za'abeel Stadium, Al-Wasl’s reserve team achieved a deserved victory over their counterparts Al-Dhafra with three goals to nil, within the competitions of the second round of the Pro League U-23.

Al Wasl began the match with a lineup that included Suhail Abdulla in goal, and the defensive four: Fares Khalil, Gabriel Da Silva, Daniel Pedrozo, and Rodrigo Oliveira. In midfield were N'Guessan Jean, Ali Ismail Madani, and Abdulla Al-Shamsi, while the attack was led by Rabee Hassan Salmeen, Adama Diallo, and Saif Nasser.

The “Emperor” entered the match with a clear advantage, and his players succeeded in imposing their style from the start, translating their control into three precise goals in the first half. Adama Diallo scored two of them, while N’Guessan Jean scored the third, allowing the team to settle the result early.

In the second half, coach Tiago Teixeira made several substitutions, bringing in Khalid Ali, Khaled Kamal, Khalifa Khamis Saad, and Abdulla Bader Marzooq as substitutes for Rodrigo Oliveira, Saif Nasser, Ali Ismail Madani, and Rabee Salmeen.

Al Wasl continued their offensive attempts during the second half, but the players did not succeed in converting them into additional goals.
