The head coach of Al Wasl’s first football team, Luis Castro, spoke during the pre-match press conference ahead of his team’s game against Khorfakkan, as part of Round 7 of the ADNOC Pro League, emphasizing the importance of the match and the team’s desire to win.
Castro said: “After the previous match in which we were not successful and were not happy, we want to correct the situation, as Khorfakkan is a strong and difficult team that plays with pressure and attacks strongly against the opponent. However, we are ready on both the defensive and offensive sides, and this is what we focused on during this week.”
He added: “We will enter the match with one goal, which is to win and obtain the three points, and this is what we have prepared for during the week.”
For his part, player Brahian Palacios confirmed that the match will not be easy against an organized team like Khorfakkan, but he pointed out that Al Wasl is ready to play the match with full strength and determination. He said: “We know it will be a tough match, and we will play with full determination to win and get the three points, and this is what we have worked for.”
