His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Al Wasl Sports Club, has issued an administrative decree regarding the formation of the Board of Directors of Al Wasl Sports Club and its subsidiary companies.

The decree appointed H.E. Mohammed Ahmed bin Fahd as Chairman of the Board, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Taniji as Vice Chairman, and members Tariq Saeed Al Shehhi, Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, Mohammed Azeer Al Shaafar, Fardan Ali Al Fardan, Mohammed Mahmoud Al Bastaki, and Ibrahim Khalil Al Baloushi.

The decree also stipulated the formation of the Board of Directors of Al Wasl Football Company, chaired by Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Teneiji, with members Ibrahim Al Haddad, Mohammed Al Shaafar, Yahya Al Jasmi, and the Sports Director.

The presidency of Al Wasl Company for Team and Individual Sports was assigned to Tariq Saeed Al Shehhi, with members Abdullah Bourgaiba, Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Khayam Flankaz, and Nabil Abdul Kareem.

In addition, the Board of Directors of Al Wasl Investment Company was restructured under the chairmanship of Fardan Ali Al Fardan, with members Mohammed Al Bastaki, Ibrahim Al Baloushi, Boutros Boutros, and Khalid Al Hai.

The decree set the term of the board at four years, renewable, and specified that it shall carry out its work in accordance with the club’s statutes, as well as the rules, regulations, and decisions issued by the Dubai Sports Council. The board’s responsibilities include distributing tasks among its members to facilitate daily operations, supervising and monitoring the executive management in implementing the operational activities of the club and its affiliated or supervised entities and companies.

His Highness expressed his gratitude to the previous board, chaired by H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Al Shaafar, for its sincere efforts that contributed to Al Wasl’s return to the winners’ podium in recent years, wishing them continued success in the future.

He also extended his best wishes to the new board of directors of Al Wasl Club and its subsidiary companies in their new mission, in order to achieve the aspirations of the club and its fans, and to reach championship podiums across all fields. His Highness reaffirmed his great confidence in their ability to exert maximum effort and work as one team to deliver achievements and bring joy to Al Wasl’s wide fan base.

Mohammed Ahmed bin Fahd, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Wasl Sports Club, expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Al Wasl Club, for the precious trust he has placed in him. He affirmed that this trust represents a great responsibility to exert more effort, alongside his fellow members, to achieve the desired goals. He stressed that His Highness’s generous patronage and unlimited support are a key motivation to advance the club’s journey, calling on all Al Wasl supporters to rally around the club in the coming stage.
