Al Wasl lost to their visitors, Al Ain, by one goal to nil, in the fifth round of the Pro League Under 23 Years.

Al Wasl’s lineup for the match was as follows: Yann Llahona as goalkeeper, the four-man defense of Ahmed Nasser Al Obaidli, Mouhamed Bobo Ba, Tarek Issaoui, and Lucas Souza Silva, in midfield Naif Ahmed, Joao Ferreira, Abdulla Ahmed, Rashed Al Mazrooei, and Rabee Hassan Salmin, and in attack Abou Ibrahima Konate.

Al Wasl started the match with an attacking approach and a desire to score, but their players’ attempts were not successful.

In the second half, and to strengthen the attack, coach Ahmet Cebe made substitutions, bringing on Saif Nasser, Dimas Filho, and Mohammed Al Mehairi in place of Rashed Al Mazrooei, Abou Ibrahim Konate, and Rabee Hassan Salmin. Joao Ferreira and Ahmed Nasser Al Obaidli also left the pitch, with Ali Ismail Madani and Juan Campos taking their places.

Yussif Suleiman scored Al Ain’s goal in the 65th minute, and Al Wasl’s players tried to reduce the deficit, but luck did not favor them, as the match ended with Al Ain winning 0-1.
