Al Wasl defeats Ittihad Kalba 4-2 and approaches winning the league.

Al Wasl took a big step towards securing their 8th title in their history, after defeating their host Ittihad Kalba 4-2 in the 24th round of the ADNOC Pro League. Kalba scored early through their player Mehdi Ghayedi in the 16th minute, despite Al Wasl dominating possession from the start. Kalba suffered an early numerical disadvantage as defender Mohammed Subil was sent off in the 4th minute after fouling Caio Canedo in front of the goal. The Emperor quickly responded in the 25th minute, with Ali Saleh scoring the equalizer from inside the penalty area.

At the beginning of the 2nd half, Al Wasl surprised Kalba with the 2nd goal scored by Adama Diallo with a header in the 47th minute, capitalizing on a fine cross from Fabio de Lima. In the 66th minute, a splendid cross from Gimenez was skillfully converted into a goal by the Moroccan Soufiane Bouftini. Kalba responded with a goal to reduce the gap scored by Italian Daniel Bessa assisted by Mehdi Ghayedi in the 69th minute. In the 88th minute, Ali Saleh skillfully passed several players and delivered a precise cross to the head of Harris Seferovic, who confidently put it into the net, announcing the 4th goal for the Emperor, ending the match with Al Wasl winning 4-2.
