The Board of Directors of Al Wasl Club held its first meeting in its new formation, at the headquarters of ARM Holding, chaired by H.E. Dr. Muhammad Ahmed bin Fahad, and attended by H.E. Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Taniji, Vice Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Football Company, along with members: Tariq Saeed Al Shehhi, Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, Fardan Ali Al Fardan, Mohammed Azeer Al Shaafar, Mohammed Mahmoud Al Bastaki, and Ibrahim Khalil Al Baloushi, in addition to Abdul Nasser Al Shamsi, the Club’s General Manager.

The meeting began with extending the highest expressions of thanks, gratitude, and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Al Wasl Sports Club, for his great confidence and continuous support for the Club’s journey, affirming that this confidence represents a great responsibility that the Board takes pride in, and constitutes a motivation for everyone to provide their best in order to elevate the name of Al Wasl high.

The Chairman of the Board also took care to welcome the new members joining the Board, praising their competencies and distinction in their various fields, confirming that they are among the best administrative cadres qualified to serve the entity and elevate it.

The meeting also included a comprehensive review of the Club’s strategy and future plans, in addition to discussing the administrative structure of the Club and its affiliated companies, in a way that keeps pace with the aspirations of the coming stage and enhances the position of the Club as a leading sports institution.
