Al Wasl Football Academy has announced the launch of the “Future Cheetahs” Program, which represents one of the leading strategic initiatives of Al Wasl Football Academy, aimed at preparing a new generation of players according to the highest global standards, by providing a select group of academy players with the opportunity to directly immerse themselves in advanced professional environments within some of the leading European clubs and academies, including clubs from the English Premier League, La Liga, and a number of the strongest European leagues, in order to refine and develop their skills, prepare them to play for the first team in the future, and broaden their football education beyond the local environment towards advanced and professional sporting environments.

The programme represents an integrated development experience carefully designed to give players the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the professional work system in global football and observe modern training methods, through a distinguished training and immersion period that introduces them to the fundamental pillars and key components of success in football.

As part of the programme, U19 player Hussain Yousuf Anwar is scheduled to kick off the project by travelling to the United Kingdom to undertake a training programme with Brighton & Hove Albion from 9 to 15 August, in a purposeful first step aimed at accelerating the pace of individual development of the academy players, preparing inspiring models for the emerging generations, and developing players capable of wearing the jersey of the Emperor’s first team in the future.
