Al Wasl Sports Club and Dubai Charity Association have signed a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at establishing an integrated model that brings together the sports and humanitarian sectors, and at building a sustainable system for social responsibility. The agreement reinforces the spirit of institutional cohesion and embodies the vision of the wise leadership in consolidating Dubai’s position as a global capital of giving and excellence.

The signing ceremony took place at Al Wasl Club’s headquarters, in the presence of Mr. Abdul Nasser Al Shamsi, General Manager of Al Wasl Club, and His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association.

The agreement focuses on formulating a shared vision that strengthens ties between the two sides and opens broader horizons for cooperation in the field of community work, through the exchange of expertise and information and the activation of charitable and volunteer activities, in a manner that ensures achieving a tangible positive impact on society. It also includes cooperation in implementing joint initiatives and campaigns, launching projects that contribute to serving the community, and activating the role of sport as a soft power capable of mobilizing efforts and supporting humanitarian and development initiatives inside and outside the country.

On this occasion, Mr. Abdul Nasser Al Shamsi, General Manager of Al Wasl Sports Club, affirmed that the club continues to perform its community role alongside its sporting achievements, noting that this partnership represents an extension of the club’s well-established approach in supporting humanitarian and charitable initiatives.
