Al Wasl Youth Basketball Team was crowned champion of the Youth Basketball Cup for the 2025–2026 season after defeating Sharjah 63–53 in the final match held at Sheikh Rashid bin Maktoum Hall at Al Wasl Club.

Following the end of the match, the championship crowning ceremony took place in the presence of H.E. Abdul Latif Nasser Al Fardan, President of the UAE Basketball Association; Mr. Ali Al Ameeri, Member of the Basketball Association Board of Directors and Competitions Director; Ahmed Saeed Al Nuaimi, Member of the Team and Individual Sports Company and Director of Sports at Al Wasl Club; and Khayyam Abdulaziz, Member of the Sports Games Company and Basketball Supervisor at Al Wasl Club, who presented Al Wasl Club with the championship trophy and gold medals.

This achievement confirms the success of the technical and administrative work in Al Wasl Club’s basketball sector and reflects the quality of the outcomes produced by the club’s age-group teams, which continue to supply the game with promising and distinguished talents.
