Al-Wasl drew with its host Ajman, with two goals each, in the eighth round of the Pro League Under 23 years.

Al-Wasl began the match with the following lineup: Yousuf Alrahma in goal, and in defense each of Khaled Ali, Omar Hussain Haikal, Bader Nasser Khamis, and Fares Khalil. In midfield, Dimas Filho, Ali Ismail Madani, and Abdulla Al Shamsi played, while the attacking line was led by the trio Naif Ahmed, Mohammed Al Mehairi, and Rabee Hassan Salmin.

Dimas Filho put Al Wasl ahead in the fifty-first minute, and Ajman equalized through Mohamed Ismail in the sixty-fifth minute, then Mahmoud Yazan scored Ajman’s second goal in the seventy-second minute.

Al Wasl’s head coach, Tiago Teixeira, made substitutions in the second half by bringing in Mohammed Fuad Ayoun, Omer Farooq Nasim, Khaled Kamal, Abdulla Badr Marzooq, and Abdallah Hausawi, as substitutes for Abdulla Al Shamsi, Rabee Hassan Salmin, Ali Ismail Madani, Khalid Ali, and Mohammed Al Mehairi.

The substitute Omer Farooq Nasim scored the equalizing goal for Al-Wasl in the eighty-eighth minute, raising Al-Wasl’s tally to 12 points in sixth place on the competition standings.
