Al Wasl Football Company has announced the appointment of Mr. Fadi Ananzeh as Technical Director of Al Wasl Football Academy, in a step that comes as part of the club’s strategy aimed at developing the youth sector and enhancing the talent development system, in line with the club’s vision of building a strong base of players capable of representing the first team in the coming years.
Ananzeh is regarded as one of the experienced technical professionals in the field of youth development, having spent many years in talent identification and player development. He began his career as Assistant coach of the First Team at Feltham Football Club in England, before becoming Head Coach of the Under-18 team at Hayes & Yeading United. He then worked as Youth Team Coach at Arsenal Football Club, followed by a spell as First Team Head Coach at Feltham Football Club. He later served as Sporting Director of London Tigers, before taking up the role of Technical Director and Head of Scouting & Recruitment at the Elite Academy of the Jordan Football Association. Most recently, he served as Assistant Technical Director of the Future Falcons Program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This appointment comes as part of Al Wasl Football Company’s commitment to continuing its investment in the academy sector, which represents the cornerstone of the club’s future, by providing a fully professional environment that contributes to the development of players on the technical, physical, and mental levels, in accordance with the best international practices in player development.
