The head coach of Al Wasl’s first football team, Mesut Meral, confirmed the team’s readiness for tomorrow’s match against Iran’s Esteghlal in the fifth round of the AFC Champions League 2, stressing the importance of the encounter in the Emperor’s path to remaining at the top of Group A.

Meral said during the match’s press conference: “We look at tomorrow’s match as an important opportunity to confirm our merit in leading the group. We fully understand that it will not be an easy match, especially since we are playing in front of their fans and on their home ground.”

For his part, midfielder Renato Tapia confirmed that the team is prepared for the match with full seriousness and focus, despite the big win achieved in the first leg, noting that the team deals with each match separately. He said:“We know the match will be difficult.
