The football company of Al Wasl Club announced the signing of the Peruvian international player Renato Tapia for the next two seasons, to officially join the Emperor's squad.
Renato Tapia has a long career in European leagues. He began his career with the Peruvian team Sporting Cristal, then moved to Esther Grande de Bentín in Peru, before joining the under-21 team of the Dutch club FC Twente in 2013. He was promoted in 2014 to the first team, where he shined, attracting the attention of Feyenoord, which he joined in 2016.
The Peruvian midfielder spent six months on loan with Willem II in the Netherlands in 2019, then returned to Feyenoord and moved to Celta Vigo in 2020, where he played four seasons with the Spanish club. He then joined Leganes in Spain for one season, before now joining the Emperor to represent it in the next two seasons.
