The Emperor triumphs over Khorfakkan with a 3-0 win, flying solo at the top of the league.

Al Wasl succeeded in defeating Khorfakkan with a clean 3-0 victory in the match held at Zabeel Stadium, as part of the 17th round of the ADNOC Pro League.

The Emperor began the match with high pressure, but faced a defensive blockade from the visitors. Nonetheless, Al Wasl intensified their attacking attempts, creating several opportunities, two of which were scored by the Swiss international Haris Seferovic. However, they were disallowed after VAR review, resulting in a goalless 1st half.

With the start of the 2nd half, Al Wasl showed their teeth. In the 55th minute, a splendid left cross from Abdulrahman Saleh was met by Fabio De Lima, who put it into the net with a single touch.

Not content with just one goal, the Yellow sought to secure 3 points by dominating the game. In the 70th minute, Gimenez unleashed a powerful shot from outside the penalty area, beating goalkeeper Ahmed Mahmoud to further solidify Al Wasl's lead. Khorfakkan then collapsed, as Al Wasl's attacks continued from all angles. In the 80th minute, a magical pass from Fabio De Lima found Siaka Sibide behind Khorfakkan's defenders, who skillfully dribbled past the goalkeeper to score into the empty net, sealing the 3rd goal for the Yellow and securing the league's top spot.
