A press conference was held at Al Wasl Club this afternoon regarding its match against the Bahraini team Al Muharraq in the AFC Champions League 2, in which the head coach of the first team Luis Castro and the team captain Ali Saleh spoke about the team’s preparations for it.
Castro confirmed during his talk that the Al Muharraq encounter is very important to continue the positive results in the championship, and that the team is determined to achieve victory, and said: “This is an important match for us, because it will prove our deserving of the first place, otherwise we will have to exert greater effort to win.” He added: “We, myself and all the players, will enter the match in full readiness and focused to achieve our goal from this match which is winning.”
For his part, the team star Ali Saleh confirmed that all the players are excited and fully ready to play the match, and said: “The match is important and we feel the responsibility, and we must achieve victory to guarantee qualification.” And he confirmed that the team will make sure to present a strong performance worthy of the name of Al Wasl, adding: “We will make sure to present a good match in order to get the three points.”
