As part of the community partnership aimed at promoting awareness and positive behaviour in the sports environment, Al Wasl Football Academy hosted the event “Aware Athlete Initiative”, which was held under the patronage of Dubai Police, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, with the participation of the academy’s players, coaches, administrators, and parents.

The initiative aims to raise the level of awareness and behavioural culture among players by promoting the values of discipline and responsibility, and encouraging them to make the right decisions both on and off the field, in a way that positively reflects on their athletic and social personalities. The initiative also seeks to engage the players’ families in the educational and sporting journey, based on the importance of integration between the family and the club in building an aware athletic generation that enjoys high morals and national belonging.

The launch of the initiative from Al Wasl Academy confirms the club’s commitment to providing a healthy and safe sports environment through purposeful programs that proceed according to the vision of the wise leadership, which calls for building an aware and balanced sports community that contributes to strengthening the concepts of positive citizenship and upright behaviour, and makes sports a way of life that enhances health, happiness, and quality of life in society, through the integration of educational values with sports practice.
