The head coach of Al Wasl’s first football team, Mesut Meral, confirmed that the team’s preparations for the Al Jazira match are proceeding as usual.

Meral said: “The preparations are going as usual. We discussed that we need to find the goal and the context in order to continue what we have started doing. Do not forget that we were in good form before these two defeats. It is not a loss against Kalba, but it still feels like a loss.”

He continued: “We have collected ten or fifteen points, so we have to get back up again, and the best opportunity to do that is against a very good team like Al Jazira. We feel that we are getting better and better every day, so we need to keep doing that.”

For his part, player Siaka Sidibe stressed the difficulty of the upcoming encounter, while at the same time affirming the team’s readiness and its ability to fight for victory.
