In loyalty to the Founder of Al Wasl Club, and in commemoration of the legacy of the late His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a man renowned for his generosity and benevolent deeds, Al Wasl Club participated in the “Ahmed bin Rashid Humanitarian Bridge” initiative, which aims to support and provide relief to the people of the Gaza Strip by preparing 10 million meals to meet their nutritional needs and alleviate their suffering.

The initiative comes as part of the humanitarian and relief efforts organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, in cooperation with Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. It carries the name of His Highness late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Founder and Builder of Al Wasl Club, in continuation of his legacy and in remembrance of his benevolent deeds, and of his name, which has been associated with giving, generosity, community work, and serving humanity. Al Wasl Club is keen to participate in initiatives that embody the values of goodness, values that the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was among the first to embrace and was keen to ensure their success.

The initiative represents an extension of the firmly established humanitarian legacy left by the late His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, may he rest in peace. It also reflects the commitment to reinforcing the culture of giving among the Club’s members and supporters, and to introducing new generations to the values established by the late Sheikh, which are based on serving the community and extending a helping and supportive hand.

Al Wasl Club affirms that the legacy of its Founder and Builder, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, may he rest in peace, will remain present throughout the Club’s journey, through continuing to give and actively participating in initiatives that serve humanity and society, and reinforce the values of goodness, solidarity, and cooperation.

The comprehensive system of noble humanitarian values and principles established by the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum strengthened the concepts of giving, solidarity, social responsibility, and building bridges of goodness and compassion among members of society.
