Al Wasl achieved victory over its guest Al Wahda by a clean goal in the twenty-fourth round of the Pro League Under-23.

Al Wasl’s lineup for the match came as follows: Suhail Abdulla in goal, Khalid Ali, Abdullah Hausawi, Tarek Issaoui and Salem Al Azizi in defense. In midfield: Dimas Filho, Ali Ismail Madani and Rodrigo Oliveira. While the attack was led by Naif Ahmed, Khalifa Khamis Saad and Rabee Hassan Salmin.

Al Wasl started the match with an attacking rhythm and threatened Al Wahda’s goal on many occasions. In the twentieth minute, Khalifa Khamis Saad left the pitch and Abdulla Ahmed replaced him, and the latter managed to score Al Wasl’s first goal only four minutes after coming on.

In the second half, Al Wasl continued its pressure on Al Wahda, and head coach Tiago Teixeira brought on Kelton Lopes and Mohammed Fouad Ayoun instead of Naif Ahmed and Rodrigo Oliveira, while Dimas Filho and Salem Al Azizi left to be replaced by Laelson Leandro and Abdullah Bader Marzouq.

Despite Al Wasl’s attacking pressure, the attempts of its players to score were unsuccessful, and the match ended with Al Wasl winning by one goal to nothing.
