Al Wasl lose against Kalba in Pro League Under 23 years 

As part of the twelfth round of the UAE Pro League Under 23 years league competition, Al Wasl lost to their guest Kalba by a score of 3-4.

Al Wasl were represented by Suhail Abdulla in goal, with Daniel Pedrozo, Abdallah Hausawi, Tarek Issaoui, and Khaled Ali in defense. In midfield, the five were Naif Ahmed, Abdulla Al Shamsi, Abdulla Ahmed, Joao Ferreira, and Saif Nasser, while Abou Ibrahima Konate led the attack.

Al Wasl began the match searching for the opening goal, but Khalid Al Darmaki put Kalba ahead from the penalty spot in the nineteenth minute, before scoring the second goal in the twenty-eighth minute.

In the second half, Al Wasl head coach Tiago Teixeira made substitutions to strengthen the attack, as Joao Ferreira, Abdulla Al Shamsi, Abou Ibrahima Konate, and Saif Nasser left the pitch, and were replaced by Dimas Filho, Rashed Al Mazrooei, Khalifa Khamis Saad, and Rabee Salmin.

Leandro Leite scored Kalba’s third goal in the fifty-fifth minute, and Al Wasl responded with two goals through Abou Ibrahima Konate in the fifty-seventh and sixty-eighth minutes respectively, and Tarek Issaoui in the seventy-ninth minute. Against the run of play, Sekou Lega scored Kalba’s fourth goal in the eighty-ninth minute.

With this result, Al Wasl’s points tally remains at eighteen, placing them third in the league standings temporarily until the end of the round.
