Mr. Luis Castro, the head coach of Al Wasl’s first football team, showed great interest in his team’s match against Sharjah in the fifth round of the ADNOC Pro League.

The Portuguese coach said during the pre-match press conference for the game:
“Our first concern in Sharjah match is the recovery of all the players, because the time between matches was very short, almost forty-eight hours have passed since the last match.”

He added: “We will prepare strategically for the match in tomorrow’s training.”

And he concluded his statements: “We respect Sharjah, it is a strong opponent, but we will give our best to win.”

For his part, Renato Tapia, the midfielder of Al Wasl’s football team, expressed his optimism about the team’s ability to come out with a positive result, stressing that team spirit and collective work will have a big impact on the match, as he said:
“We know it will be a difficult match, and we know the quality of Sharjah’s players, but recently in the past weeks we have been progressing well as a team and as one family, and I believe that as a team we can secure the three points in the upcoming match.”
