Al Wasl Football Company has announced the appointment of German coach Ahmed Cebe (43 years old) as head coach of Al Wasl's Under-23 years team, in preparation for the start of the 2026-2027 sporting season, as part of the club's plans to develop the football sector and strengthen the pathway for preparing young talents.

Cebe began his football career with Uerdingen 05 and played for Schalke and Fortuna Düsseldorf in Germany. He also played in Turkey for Denizlispor, Karabükspor, Sivasspor, and Samsunspor.

Cebe then turned to coaching, beginning his coaching career at the Fortuna Düsseldorf Academy. He later moved to the United Arab Emirates to coach Legentos, followed by Gulf United, before taking charge of Al Wasl's Under-23 years team.
