The pre-match press conference for the game between Al Wasl and Saudi Al Qadsiah, as part of the first round of the league stage in the AFC Champions League Elite, was held with the attendance of the first football team's head coach at Al Wasl Club, Mr. Rui Vitória, and team player Nicolas Gimenez.

During the conference, Vitória expressed his happiness at the start of the emperor’s journey in the AFC Champions League Elite, saying: "I am happy to be here, having previously worked in Saudi Arabia, and we are glad that we are starting the AFC Champions League Elite tournament. We know we will face a strong opponent, but we are ready and excited for the start of the match."

For his part, Nicolas Gimenez confirmed the readiness of Al Wasl players, pointing out that the team played in the AFC Champions League 2 last season, before participating in the AFC Champions League Elite in the current season.

Gimenez said: "We are happy to be in this tournament. Last season we played in the AFC Champions League 2, and currently we are in the AFC Champions League Elite. We are glad that our team is participating in these high-level tournaments, and we are excited to start the tournament well."
