The activities of the "Football Companies Week", which was organized by Al Wasl Football Company under the supervision of the Dubai Sports Council,have beeb concluded after four days full of development programs, specialized lectures, and sports and community activities, in a step that reflects the club’s commitment to enhancing the professional work system and developing administrative and technical competencies within the sports sector.
The activities commenced with themes focused on institutional development and community engagement, in addition to discussing ways to increase revenues through innovative income sources and commercial partnerships, as well as reviewing the importance of media coverage of partnerships and its role in publishing and documenting content. The program also included an awareness lecture on fire safety and methods of prevention.
On the technical and organizational development side, the activities addressed the importance of digital transformation in sports clubs and its role in improving the efficiency of administrative and technical work, in addition to reviewing the mechanisms of managing and organizing football match operations and accompanying events, starting from season preparations through to matchday. A session was also dedicated to discussing the professional relationship between technical staffs and referees.
On the third day, outstanding employees from the departments that contributed to supporting first-team matches were honored. The recognition ceremony was attended by Abdulnasser Al Shamsi, Chief Executive Officer of Al Wasl Football Company at Al Wasl Club, who praised the efforts made by the employees during the previous season to ensure the smooth and professional conduct of matches. As part of promoting digital awareness and security culture, the program included a lecture on the safe use of websites, in cooperation with Al Ameen Service, focusing on enhancing community and security awareness among academy players to avoid becoming victims of cyber extortion.
The activities concluded in a distinguished atmosphere through the organization of the "Family Sports Day" at Al Wasl Football Academy, which included various sports activities for players and parents, in addition to a special lecture for promising talents entitled "A Player’s Journey", during which the experience of Al Wasl first-team football captain Ali Saleh was presented with the aim of motivating young players and encouraging them to develop their sporting careers.
