Al Wasl Swimmer Omar Al Hammadi Ranks 6th in the World 100m Breaststroke

Al Wasl Sports Club swimmer Omar Al Hammadi achieved a remarkable acheivement by securing 6th place worldwide in the 100m breaststroke (30–34 age category) during the World Aquatics Masters Championships held in Singapore from July 5 to 14, with the participation of more than 6,000 swimmers from over 100 countries.

Al Hammadi also placed 8th in the 200m individual medley, 19th in the 50m butterfly out of 120 competitors—setting a new personal best—and 13th in the 50m breaststroke.

It is worth noting that the World Aquatics Masters Championships is the largest global swimming competition for the Masters category, held every two years in a different country, and includes events in swimming, water polo, diving, artistic swimming, and open water swimming.
