Al Wasl played out a goalless draw with visiting Omani team Saham in a friendly match held at Zaabeel Stadium, as part of the team's preparations for the new football season.

The friendly encounter saw a large number of Al Wasl players take part, as head coach Luís Castro aimed to test various options and assess the squad’s physical and technical readiness ahead of the ADNOC Pro League kickoff.
