The activities of “Football Companies Week” were launched at Al Wasl Club, organized by Al Wasl Football Company under the supervision of Dubai Sports Council, within the framework of enhancing institutional and sports development, exchanging expertise, and raising the efficiency of administrative and technical work within sports clubs, through a series of lectures, workshops, and various activities extending over five days.
The first day of the activities witnessed multiple themes including institutional development and community participation, in addition to sessions discussing newly introduced sources of income and commercial partnerships, and their media coverage, as well as an educational awareness lecture on safety from fire accidents.
The second day includes lectures on digital transformation in sports clubs, football match operations and event coordination from pre-season preparations to matchday, alongside a specialized lecture on the interaction of technical staffs with referees and the importance of enhancing professional communication within sports competitions.
The third day is dedicated to discussing legal affairs, through reviewing the characteristics of professional sports contracts and the related regulatory aspects.
On the fourth day, a lecture on the safe use of websites will be held, in addition to an awareness lecture presented by the “Ghers” program in cooperation with Dubai Police, with the aim of enhancing digital awareness and security culture among participants.
The week concludes its activities on the fifth day with the “Family Sports Day” and an outdoor sports activity, in addition to a lecture dedicated to promising talents, and a sports cultural awareness seminar titled “A Player’s Journey,” alongside the announcement of the results of future football talent trials for joining Al Wasl Football Academy.
