Al Wasl Club, in cooperation with the UAE Pro League, organized a media training workshop dedicated to the academy youth players, presented by Mr. Ahmed Al Blooshi, Director of the Media Center at the club, as part of the efforts of both parties to develop players’ skills outside the pitch and enhance their readiness to deal with the media professionally.

The workshop focused on introducing players to new media, and the role of media in a player’s professional career, in addition to raising awareness about the optimal use of social media, and avoiding practices that may negatively affect the player’s career or the club’s image, and dealing with winning and losing situations in the media, and the importance of using social media platforms to deliver a positive message.

This initiative comes as part of the efforts of Al Wasl Club and the UAE Pro League aimed at preparing a well-rounded generation of players, whose excellence is not limited to technical performance on the field, but also extends to media presence and professionalism off the field, confirming that the player is an ambassador of the club and must act with awareness and professionalism on and off the field.
