Al Wasl Football Company has announced the signing of international midfielder Yahia Nader from Al Ain, effective from the 2026–27 season. The move comes as part of the club’s efforts to strengthen the first-team squad ahead of the upcoming season and the challenges that lie ahead in domestic and continental competitions.
The club’s new midfielder began his football journey through the youth ranks of Al Ain before progressing to the first team in 2018. During his time with the club, he won several major titles, including the UAE Pro League in the 2021–22 season, the ADIB Cup in 2021–22, the AFC Champions League Elite in 2023–24, and finished as runner-up in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2018.
Nader spent the second half of the 2025–26 season on loan at Bani Yas before completing his move to Al Wasl. He becomes the club’s second summer signing following the arrival of Leandro Leite.
The signing of Yahia Nader is part of Al Wasl Football Company’s strategy to reinforce the squad and benefit from his international experience with the United Arab Emirates national team, as well as his previous continental competition experience with Al Ain.
