Al-Wasl Football Academy teams showed remarkable progress in their results during the weekend matches in the various competitions, as the results came as follows:
U-15 League (A):
At Al-Wasl Club’s training pitch (No. 4), Al-Wasl achieved a big victory over Al-Dhafra with a score of 7-0, in a match where they confirmed their complete superiority.
Goals scored by: Zayed Ibrahim (hat-trick), Hamdan Tareq, Abdalla Ihab Mohamed, Alfred James, and Adam Mohamed Khalil (one goal each).
With this victory, Al-Wasl tops the league table with 6 points.
U-19 League:
At pitch No. 1 of Al-Wasl Club, the U-19 team defeated Al-Nasr with one goal to nil, scored by player Ahmed Mostafa, raising the team’s tally to 6 points in second place on the table.
U-16 League (A):
The U-16 (A) team continued its brilliance by defeating hosts Al-Wahda 2-1. The two goals were scored by Ahmed Yasser Ali and Salaheldin Ahmed, raising the tally to 4 points and placing the team in third position in the table.
U-14 League (A):
The U-14 (A) team achieved a valuable victory over Al-Jazira with a score of 2-0, with the two goals scored by Olliver Dias, thus collecting its first 3 points in the competition and taking fourth place in the overall standings.
U-17 League (A):
Despite the good performance, the U-17 (A) team lost against hosts Al-Jazira with a score of 3-2, with Al-Wasl’s two goals scored by Adam Ahmed Mahrous and Hussain Yousuf Anwar.
These results embody the remarkable progress witnessed by the Academy teams, and confirm the determination to appear in a way worthy of the name of Al-Wasl Club during the current season in the various age groups, as part of their constant pursuit of delivering distinguished performances that strengthen the club’s presence in the age-group competitions.
