A press conference was held at Al Wasl Club for the first-team football match against Khorfakkan in the fourth round of  ADNOC Pro League, which will take place at Za'abeel Stadium on Friday, September 4.

The first-team head coach, Mr. Rui Vitoria, emphasized the importance of the match during the press conference, saying: “It is an important match for us. We want to win and crown our usual level by collecting the three points.”

He continued: “Khorfakkan is coming from a win in the previous match, and they are a difficult team, but we want to achieve the win. We know it is a difficult match, but we are ready.”

He concluded his statements: “We have forgotten the previous match against Shabab Al Ahli, and what we want is to win against Khorfakkan and collect the points of the match, nothing else.”

For his part, Al Wasl defender Soufiane Bouftini emphasized the importance of the match, considering it an opportunity for the team to maintain its presence among the top positions in the ADNOC Pro League standings.

Bouftini said: “The match is important for us and an opportunity to make up for it against Khorfakkan, to remain in the top positions in the league standings. We are at a good level and training with high morale.”

He concluded: “The win against Khorfakkan will give us motivation before facing Al Ain in the league and Al Qadsiah in the AFC Champions League Elite.”
